Integrated into the MyConnectedFleet web platform, the MICHELIN AI Assistant provides easy access to insights based on fleet usage data, making management simpler and more efficient
Tested in real-world conditions, the MICHELIN AI Assistant allows users to make requests using natural language, such as: “Generate a report showing which drivers in my fleet have been the most fuel-efficient this month”; “Which lorries in my fleet require tyre maintenance?”; “How many vehicles are currently out of service?”; or “What was the cost of fuel consumption this month?”
Designed as a closed system to protect data confidentiality, it aims to reduce complexity and support fleet managers in their day-to-day work.
The AI Assistant acts as a true partner for fleet managers of heavy goods vehicles, passenger transport and light commercial vehicles, providing insights into fuel consumption, driver behaviour and journey data. New features will be progressively added to the solution, based on customer feedback.
“The AI Assistant represents the natural evolution of our DNA, built around supporting our customers. Co-developed with some of our key customers, it offers a more intuitive way to interact with vehicle usage data, eliminating the need to generate multiple reports. Fleet managers supported by artificial intelligence can thus focus fully on the performance of their operations.” — Sophie Foucque, CEO of MICHELIN Connected Fleet, Europe, Africa and Australia.
The key benefits of the MICHELIN AI Assistant include:
direct access via the MyConnectedFleet web portal;
immediate responses — whether to quick queries on safety and costs, or to more complex requests, such as generating reports and identifying trends, in text or visual format;
insights based on real-time data.
According to 78% of fleet managers, artificial intelligence will transform the sector*. With this AI Assistant, MICHELIN Connected Fleet provides customers with unique, real-time expertise, built on 130 years of know-how in mobility and 30 years of experience in data science. A solution designed to provide practical support to fleet managers in their day-to-day decision-making.
As well as enhancing the user experience for fleet managers, the AI Assistant can be combined with other solutions, such as smart on-board cameras, patented technologies for automatic tyre wear inspection or under-inflation alerts, forming part of a comprehensive and coherent approach focused on customers’ practical needs in the age of artificial intelligence.
The MICHELIN AI Assistant is currently available to MICHELIN Connected Fleet customers in Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Spain, Denmark, the Netherlands, Finland, Sweden and Germany.
