C10 upgraded to Leapmotor’s latest 3.5 Electronic & Electrical Architecture, enabling enhanced connectivity, smarter software features and expanded driver assistance technologies
Leapmotor has unveiled the new C10 MY27, an enhanced version of its flagship D-segment SUV, to continue to deliver innovative technology, premium comfort, and safety without compromise.
At the heart of the MY27 update is Leapmotor’s latest 3.5 Electronic & Electrical Architecture. The new platform enables enhanced connectivity, more advanced driver assistance functions, faster software response and improved user experience.
The C1O also features enhanced performance and even greater range for both the all-electric BEV and range-extending Hybrid EV models. In addition, customers benefit from updated convenience features, ensuring the C10 continues to set new standards in the family SUV segment.
Enhanced style and comfort
For MY27, the C10’s solid exterior design has been enhanced with the addition of a new lighting signature (available on Design trim). At the front, the advanced automatic LED headlamps are now complemented by a full-width LED light bar creating a more distinctive and contemporary appearance.
Inside, the C10’s interior continues to combine elegance, technology and functionality without compromise. High-quality materials are used throughout, creating a refined and comfortable cabin environment.
On Design trim, several upgrades reinforce its position at the top of the C10 range. The MY27 features a frameless auto-dimming rear-view mirror that enhances both appearance and everyday usability.
Comfort and refinement are also further enhanced with the addition of 4-way powered lumbar support for the driver’s seat plus the addition of double-layer acoustic glass for the front side windows, helping to reduce wind noise and further improve cabin refinement.
Enhanced practicality and convenience
The C10 continues to offer generous interior space, with outstanding comfort for both front and rear passengers. The back seats can also be reclined for extra comfort or lowered completely to create a wide, spacious bed area for relaxing.
On MY27 BEV models the luggage compartment has been increased by 27-litres, increasing luggage capacity to 500-litres and up to 1,905-litres with the seats folded.
In addition, the C10 BEV now features a new, two-level adjustable boot floor that can be lowered to create maximum load space or raised to create a hidden compartment below. All versions of the C10 BEV also feature a 30-litre frunk providing convenient storage for charging cables and other small items.
For the C10 Hybrid EV the luggage capacity has been increased from 400-litres to 440-litres. With the rear seats folded the available space increases to 1.845-litres.
Intuitive charging
Charging the C10 BEV and C10 REEV is now even more straightforward thanks to the addition of an intuitive visual indicator. Located behind the charging door, the three-colour illuminated Leapmotor logo provides an immediate visual indication of the vehicle’s charging status.
When plugged in and not charging the display is white, while it flashes green to show charging is in progress and is solid green when completed. When an active scheduled charge is due to start the logo is blue, while flashing blue indicates V2L charging.
Everyday usability is enhanced through the introduction of a stylish new smart key with seamless hands-free entry and start.
Increased performance and range
Updates to the C10 powertrain range deliver improved performance, faster charging and extended driving range across selected versions.
For versions fitted with the 69.9kWh Pro battery, the rear-mounted motor’s power has been increased to 224HP (165kW) and torque boosted from 320 to 360Nm, raising the top speed to 180km/h. Yet this uplift in performance comes with enhanced efficiency, resulting in a WLTP range of 430km.
The C10 69.9 kWh Pro also benefits from even faster charging, with maximum DC capacity increased from 84kW to 120kW. As a result, it’s now possible to charge from 30% to 80% in 24 minutes.
For the C10 RWD 81.9kWh ProMax the motor now offers 299HP (220kW) and 360Nm, resulting in a 0-100km/h time of 6.8 seconds and a top speed of 190km/h. Despite the increase in performance, the range remains an impressive 519km (WLTP).
The flagship C10 AWD 81.9kWh ProMax delivers an exceptional combined power output of 571HP (420kW) from its dual motors (front and rear) and maximum torque of 655Nm. This delivers outstanding performance, with 0-100km/h in just 5.0 seconds, with an outstanding range of 479km (WLTP).
The updated C10 Hybrid EV combines stronger performance with greater long-distance capability. Delivering 220HP (162kW) and up to 145km of electric driving range. When combined with the updated 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol generator it provides an overall range of 986km (WLTP),
Seamless connectivity and enhanced voice control
The new C10 features the latest LEAP OS 4.0 Plus system housed in an intuitive 14.6-inch centrally mounted infotainment system. Featuring a responsive and intuitive user experience, it benefits from a customizable interface, immersive 3D graphics, and multi-application display.
For the MY27 C10, connectivity is enhanced by the addition of wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone compatibility, plus a more intuitive voice control system
AI-Powered enhanced voice assistant delivers faster, more natural interactions and improved understanding of user requests such as n online search capability for real-time information searches, including weather and news.
Capable of understanding English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Arabic, the system benefits from comprehensive upgrades in vehicle control, multimedia and navigation.
An online search capability has also been added, utilising ChatGPT for real-time information searches, including weather and news. And with support for multilingual code-switching, contextual understanding, and multi-intent recognition, enabling more intuitive interaction between occupants and vehicle functions.
Even greater safety
The new C10 further strengthens its safety offering with the introduction of five additional driver assistance functions increasing the total number of ADAS features to 22. Whether in traffic or on the open road, these state-of-the-art systems use intelligent technologies to support drivers every step of the way, delivering a smoother, safer and more relaxed driving experience.
For the MY27 C10 the new systems include:
Automatic Lane Change (ALC): When activated, initiating the turn signal the vehicle will automatically change lanes depending on the driving environment.
Front Vehicle Departure Warning (FVDW): Alerts the driver in stationary traffic when the vehicle in front starts to move off.
Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA): Monitors approaching vehicles when moving forwards out of a junction or parking space, alerting the driver.
Front Cross Traffic Braking (FCTB): Monitors approaching vehicles when moving forwards out of a junction or parking space and applies the brakes if warning is not actioned.
Side Distance Indication System (SDIS): On narrow roads the 360° surround view camera is activated monitor the surroundings, as are the front parking sensors
In addition, the C10 now features the new 1V5R (1 front vision camera and 5 radars) system, a fusion-based intelligent driving set-up that significantly expands the car’s forward target detection coverage. With MY27, two front corner radars and one forward radar have been added, improving environmental awareness and enhancing object detection around the vehicle.
The C10 line-up
The MY27 C10 line-up features the same Life and Design trim levels as before, but each model features an enhanced specification. Both versions feature a generous list of standard equipment, including electrically adjustable front seats (4-way for the passenger and 6-way for the driver), an automatic dual-zone, air-conditioning system, automatic LED headlights and taillights and a 2.1 m2 panoramic sunroof with powered sunshade.
For Life models, the specification now also includes advanced Keyless Go & Start, front parking sensors, 22 driver assistance systems and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto.
On top of these additions, the Design trim includes all Life equipment and further enhances comfort and refinement with the automatic anti-dazzling rear-view mirror, driver’s seat 4-way lumbar support, front windows with double-layer soundproof glass and the full-width LED lightbar.
