TAG Heuer and the F1 Monaco Grand Prix share a long-standing relationship. To celebrate this legendary connection and the Grand Prix’s 79th edition, TAG Heuer releases a new Special Edition of its iconic timepiece which bears the same name as the prestigious F1 race, the TAG Heuer Monaco. This new interpretation mixes modern materials and a historic lineage to render the ultimate racing chronograph a model for eternity.
TAG HEUER MONACO : A NEW SPECIAL EDITION FOR THE FORMULA 1 MONACO GRAND PRIX
Racing enthusiasts and lovers of bold, innovative watches will be thrilled with a new special edition of the TAG Heuer Monaco chronograph – a dramatic watch inspired by a legendary Heuer Monaco of the 1970s and made of DLC-coated titanium. Demonstrating the innovative spirit of the TAG Heuer Monaco, this exclusive chronograph captures the mystique of one of the brand’s most iconic collections.
This year’s special edition marks the first use of black-coated titanium for a TAG Heuer Monaco chronograph. The DLC coating provides deep, rich colour that will stand up to its intended use as the racer’s tool, with the case sandblasted to produce a grained finish. Advances in technique now allow the durable black coating to be used not only on the case, but also on the crown, pushers and caseback.
NEW BRAND AMBASSADOR: JACOB ELORDI
To embody the spirit of this watch unlike any other, TAG Heuer presents Jacob Elordi as Brand Ambassador for the TAG Heuer Monaco collection. At just 24, Australian Jacob Elordi has done what most actors spend their careers dreaming about: not only landing the lead in a show that looks set to define a generation as Euphoria’s Nate but delivering a performance of such daring complexity and nuance that he’s become an instant Gen Z icon.
Distinctive and rebellious, instantly iconic yet utterly idiosyncratic: there is no better pairing than the chronograph that changed everything and an actor who is playing by his own rules.
