The performance and sports car brand is entering the series with two Performance Teams and a total of four AMG Drivers. Lucas Auer (AUT) and Tom Kalender (GER) will be racing for Mercedes-AMG Team Landgraf. Maro Engel (GER) will be competing for Mercedes-AMG Team RAVENOL, whilst Jules Gounon (FRA) will be racing for Mercedes-AMG Team MANN-FILTER. The two Mercedes-AMG GT3 driven by Engel and Gounon will be fielded by Team Winward Racing. With 16 titles, Mercedes-AMG is the most successful manufacturer in the DTM. Winning the DTM title is the declared goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the first time in the history of the DTM, the season opener will take place at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg (Austria).
