Jeep, sold in more than 70 markets globally, new Jeep® Avenger is a leader in the B-SUV segment across all major European countries
Launched in 2023, Jeep® Avenger has reached the 300,000-order mark, taking another step toward the record of 610,000 units set by Jeep Renegade (entire lifecycle, same perimeter). Electrified versions account for about 60% of total sales.
New Jeep Avenger, renovated in May, offers refreshed styling, advanced features such as LED matrix headlights and 360°-view front camera, a new Selec-Terrain® mode selector, as well as improved look, touch and feel of all internal surfaces. The new nature-inspired colors, Bamboo and Forest, have also been much appreciated by customers.
Avenger is designed and manufactured in Europe, and has been developed with European customers in mind. By combining the style of a cool compact car with unprecedented capability, it has opened up a new perspective in the B-SUV segment. Its product formula expands Jeep’s traditional reach attracting a high percentage of female buyers and drivers under 40.
Functionality becomes form – and vice versa
Customers appreciate Jeep’s “design to function” approach, that makes Avenger beautiful, practical, and at home in all environments.
360-degree protective cladding, encased headlamps, and “molded-in-color” skid plates are distinctive aesthetic elements, but also help avoid damage in case of small shocks. Short overhangs combined with high ground clearance optimize offroad performance and allow the vehicle to clear obstacles without scaping the bumpers.
The seven-slot grille – a signature Jeep element – is enhanced by LED backlighting, making the car visible and recognizable in all situations.
Offroad: Jeep’s way of life
Despite its compact size, new Avenger retains all the features that make Jeep DNA iconic – starting with best-in-class capability. No other vehicle in the same category offers the same ground clearance and offroad angles, nor the same overall performance on rugged terrains.
Jeep Selec-Terrain® – standard also on 4×2 versions – adjusts power delivery and traction control based on terrain and weather conditions. Pre-set driving modes are selected by the driver via an easily accessible switch. The system is paired with Hill Descent Control.
The all-wheel drive 145hp 4xe version is equipped with electrified double-clutch transmission, front thermal engine, and a rear electric motor delivering up to 1,900 Nm of torque to the rear wheels. New Jeep Avenger 4xe can overcome slopes of 40% on gravel, and 20% when the front axle has no grip. This version features black Jeep Shield, LED foglamps, roof rails, and rear hook.
Freedom to choose technology
Customers want freedom of choice, and new Jeep Avenger responds with a complete powertrain offering – petrol, e-hybrid, BEV, and 4xe versions, manual and automatic transmission, front- and all-wheel drive.
Full electric is ideal for zero-emission urban commuting (with a range of up to 400 km), as well as for quiet open-road driving. The e-Hybrid version is the entry step into electrified world. The Petrol version with manual transmission offers an accessible solution for those who prefer a more traditional approach. The all-wheel drive Avenger 4xe is designed to tackle even the most challenging terrains.
New Jeep Avenger is available in four trim levels (Longitude, Altitude, Summit, and a special edition dedicated to the brand’s 85th Anniversary).
Avenger 4xe is offered in three trim levels (Upland, Overland, and 85th Anniversary).
New high-tech features: LED matrix headlights and 360° view camera
Already boasting class-leading technology, the new Jeep Avenger now also introduces LED matrix headlights, offering a more relaxed night driving experience.
An additional front camera provides a digitally-recreated 360° top view on the touch-screen, making parking maneuvers easier and offroad driving safer. The optimal view and zoom level are selected automatically – though the driver retains the ability to adjust them at any time.
Safety features are completed by a state-of-the-art suite of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems.
